Riot Jazz

Spawning from the Manchester music scene in 2008 and now sucking in members from all over the UK, the Riot Jazz Brass Band is a nine-piece genre-mashing, foot stomping party behemoth bringing the love buzz to ears and feet all over the world. With three trumpets, three trombones, sousaphone and drums bringing the noise and MC Chunky conducting the chaos with some choice shape-throwing of his own, the result is a gleeful cacophony encompassing jazz, hip hop, drum ‘n’ bass, trap, grime, and more.The live show, which has graced stages and festivals all over Europe, including Glastonbury, WOMAD, and Jazz Sous Les Pommiers, fulfils the promise of the band’s name: Blaring horns, pounding beats, sing-a-long chants and dance-a-long choruses. A high energy performance that doesn’t quit until every member of the audience has been pulled into the maelstrom
